{"id":759,"date":"2012-11-04T14:00:46","date_gmt":"2012-11-04T14:00:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.catchingphotons.co.uk\/blog\/?p=759"},"modified":"2013-11-16T23:27:19","modified_gmt":"2013-11-16T23:27:19","slug":"johnnie-walker-bottling-plant","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/catchingphotons.co.uk\/blog\/industrial\/johnnie-walker-bottling-plant\/","title":{"rendered":"Johnnie Walker Bottling Plant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/cycleologist\/8153706153\/\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7257\/8153706153_a33e54b10a_z.jpg\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>When Diageo closed down the Johnnie Walker distillery in Glasgow, <a title=\"Port Dundas Distillery\" href=\"http:\/\/www.catchingphotons.co.uk\/blog\/?p=451\">I was\u00a0in there like a shot<\/a>, but when the bottling plant in Kilmarnock closed a bit later it was a trickier nut to crack &#8211; I had several goes around the beginning of the year, and got into a few bits of it, but it was very secure with loads of CCTV, 3-4 guards and even those infrared barrier things. Not fun.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>So I left it for a bit, and left it a little too long I think &#8211; it&#8217;s mostly stripped out, but there are still some decent things to see.
