When I last visited the Springburn Winter Gardens, they were in a bit of a state – very overgrown, and they looked like they didn’t have much time left.
Now, there’s a huge change – the Winter Gardens Trust have cleaned up a lot, and when they were installing new strengthening girders at the top of the glasshouse I took the chance to have a look.
All the foliage is gone, and a lot of temporary scaffolding gave access to the very top.
