This old printworks closed over 10 years ago, but it’s still in fantastic shape, and it’s a lovely little time capsule of printing technology over the years. The heart is, of course, this typesetting room:

Are those hot-metal Linotype machines? Rare as hens’ teeth and belong in a museum. I think the Hampshire Chronicle was the last UK paper to be printed using these and they changed over to litho in about 1988. A great find!
